Technologies

The enterprise is the leading manufacturer of oxide crystals in the world. It has the technology for growing crystals from 10 mm up to 100 mm in diameter, and from 50 mm up to 320mm in length by Chokhralsky method in the inert gas environment at the temperature of growth from 1100 °C up to 2000 °C.

While working in the area of oxide monocrystals growing and producing products on its basis, the plant has independently or in collaboration with other organizations developed and applied technologies of growth of the following type of monocrystals:

  • yttrium aluminum garnet, yttrium aluminate, lithium niobate and tantalate, lead molybdate, calcium molybdate, calcium tungstate, lanthanum-gallium silicate, lithium iodate, lutetia-yttrium aluminate, bismuth germinate, barium natrium niobate and yttrium vanadate.

Work of the enterprise in the field of creation and development of the technologies of growth of radiation-resistant lead tungstate crystals made it possible to produce crystals with unique properties, and the plant became the world's monopolist in their production.

 

In the field of quantum electronics the plant possesses the technologies of after-growth anneal of crystals and heat treatment of half-finished crystal products; the technologies of deposition of antireflecting and transparent electrically conductive coating upon finished products.

The enterprise possesses the assembling technology of quantrons, working on a wavelength of 1.06 micrometers in continuous single- and multimode and in pulse mode; assembling technology of acoustooptic switches laser radiation control devices on basis of quartz of artificial optical and quartz glass.

 

The enterprise develops the assembly of industrial solar modules size 1639х982х35.3 mm power 200 watt from multi-siliceous photoelectric converters size 6.14х6.14 inches (156х156 mm). Photovoltaic modules may have different design factors and power outputs depending on application domain.

 

The enterprise possesses the following techno chemical items:

  • technology of coil-type and folded heaters formation;
  • technology of hydrogen anneal of metal details of electronic tubes;
  • technology of binder production intended for Pparation of metallized pastes applied for pottery works metallization;
  • technology of production of carbonates of alkali-earth metals of barium, strontium, calcium (double carbonate (Ba, Sr,)CO3 и ternary carbonate (Ba, Sr, Ca)CO3;
  • technology of oxide suspension production and its spray application on cathodes;
  • technology of alumina suspension and its application on heaters by means of cataphoresis deposition.
